Happy Summer!

As always, the school year seems to have flown by.  It feels like just yesterday we were all meeting for the first time!  Now, here I am sending 19 readers, authors, actors, scientists, mathematicians, artists, and thinkers on to YES for second grade.  Thank you, families, for your endless support- it is such a huge part of what made the year a successful one for all of these sweet little people.  I feel very lucky to be part of the Yarmouth community and even luckier to have been the Ice Owls' teacher this year.  Happy summer!

Mrs. Wolinsky, Mr. Gross,  and some middle school students designed a Breakout EDU for first graders!  On Friday the Ice Owls found all the clues and solved all the puzzles before the timer ran out!

We celebrated Mr. Urban and presented him with some special gifts as a way to say thank you for all the time he has spent in our classroom this year!
Thank you for joining us for our big portfolio celebrations on Thursday and Friday!  The students were overjoyed at the opportunity to share their first grade learning with you in the classroom!

The students have finished designing and creating the sets for their plays next week!  We hope you can join us on Tuesday at 11:30 for the big show!
